Effective Communication with a focus on 'Reading for Performance'

The abovementioned course is ideal for adults who want to improve their oral communication skills and
teachers who are interested to enhance their classroom teaching. Indeed it is timely in the light of the
Ministry of Education’s clarion call for educators and parents to be excellent role models of the use of
    Standard English.

In order to reverse the declining standard of spoken English amongst the student population,
parents/teachers must lead the way and “speak well; speak clearly and be understood on the
international stage.” Good diction, proper enunciation and expressive intonation should become our
    way of life.
